Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $68,570 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $74,699 CAD average.
• It brings a refreshed look and broader appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year pricing context and a truck that still offers strong capability and broad configuration choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one with the features and condition you want.
