How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

There are 107 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns a 7.3/10 from our experts.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It stands out as a mid-size SUV with room for seven, and its stylish design and standard all-wheel drive give it broad appeal if you want a premium SUV that feels composed on the road. The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped for anyone but the smallest passengers, and the price can climb quickly as you move up the trim line. It also has strong driving dynamics and engine prowess, but the expert review notes that the computer-controlled shifting and overall tuning leave some room for improvement. With 28.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a refined, well-equipped luxury SUV with strong handling and two engine choices, but it also shows its age in some key areas. The expert review highlights smooth power delivery, excellent all-wheel-drive behaviour, and a chassis that handles like a dream, while also noting that the second-generation Q7 has been around since 2017.

Its powertrain is described as smooth and easy, with the eight-speed automatic sending power to all four wheels admirably. The review also points out that the Q7’s driving modes and braking feel are competent, even if the transmission does not always downshift as eagerly as you might want. On the cost side, the base trim is the recommended starting point, and the larger engine adds to the bottom line without fully solving the model’s tech shortcomings.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you may be paying premium-SUV money for a vehicle whose safety tech and overall polish no longer feel fully current.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the core Q7 experience, while the higher trims add more equipment and can push the price up quickly. The expert review also notes that the base trim is the best place to start if you want to keep value in check.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and a 3.0-litre turbo V6 with 335 horsepower. The larger engine is the stronger performer and is standard on the higher trims.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking capability for parallel and perpendicular spaces. The expert review also says the advanced driver-assistance features feel outdated compared with rivals.
• Infotainment: Audi’s MMI system uses a 10.1-inch centre screen with a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, plus a configurable digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the Audi App Store adds third-party apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the 3.0-litre engine at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 10.0 on the highway, and 11.7 combined. The 2.0-litre engine is rated at 12.0 L/100 km city, 9.2 highway, and 10.7 combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Q7’s design, standard all-wheel drive, and core luxury features without pushing the price too far. The expert review specifically suggests staying with the base trim and adding the more potent engine if you want the strongest overall balance.
• Progressiv: This trim makes sense if you want a step up in equipment and are comfortable paying more for it, but the review makes clear that the Q7’s price rises quickly as you move up the line.
• Technik: This is the most fully equipped version, but it is also the hardest to justify because the expert review says the ADAS features are outdated and the driving pleasure only meets you halfway.

The safety package includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, and adaptive cruise control on upper trims, plus self-parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market if you are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $68,592 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $69,231 CAD sits slightly below last year's $77,079 CAD.

That drop suggests the Q7 has become more approachable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. The current market still shows a meaningful spread between the low and high end of the year-round range, so condition, trim, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to resell. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces. The expert review also notes that lane-centring can feel haphazard and that the system is not as robust as some rivals, which is a key caveat if safety tech is a priority for you. NHTSA also says the vehicle meets performance criteria for forward collision and lane-departure warnings, but does not approve its forward emergency braking or dynamic brake support systems.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.18% compared with last year.
• The refreshed design, standard all-wheel drive, and updated tech appeal to you more than the model’s ageing driver-assistance setup.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Q7 with a mid-cycle refresh and you value its styling and road manners, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may deliver much of the same core experience for less money, especially if you can live with older tech.

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2025 Audi Q7:

• Pros: Stylish design, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Standard all-wheel drive.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Cramped third row, Outdated advanced driver-assistance features.

2025 BMW X7:

• Pros: Great handling, Easy-to-use technology, Reasonable value for money.
• Cons: Potentially polarizing design, Unimpressive interior materials.

Our experts score the 2025 Audi Q7 7.3/10 and the 2025 BMW X7 7.3/10. The Audi is the better fit if you want standard all-wheel drive, wireless smartphone integration, and a more stylish look. The BMW counters with stronger handling and easier-to-use technology, but it comes with a much higher average used price and fewer listings.
