Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 491 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,716 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $41,737 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,324 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale will depend on how the market moves from here. If prices stabilise or recover, a well-kept example could hold up well. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range gives you more cushion against depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,640 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,737 CAD average.
• It offers efficient, comfortable, easy-to-use practicality.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one with the right equipment and condition.
