What is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $55,170 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,015 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also suggests sellers may need to be realistic when they list. If you own one for a few years, the combination of steady demand and a practical family-focused layout should help support value better than a less versatile SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 20% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,210 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,170 CAD average.
• It puts fuel efficiency at the centre of its appeal.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a solid mix of space, efficiency, and standard equipment. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you can live with its compromises.
