Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Toyota Corolla, and its appeal is built around practicality, flexibility, and long-term dependability. The Corolla lineup gives you sedan and hatchback body styles, plus hybrid and all-wheel-drive availability in some versions, so you can tailor it to commuting, efficiency, or added traction. It also comes well equipped for a compact car, with standard features that make everyday use easier. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Corolla’s reputation is reinforced by its practical design, broad availability of efficient powertrains, and focus on easy ownership. It is built to be straightforward to live with, and the model’s long-running reputation for durability supports that image. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about choosing the right version for your needs, since some trims are intentionally simple.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 413 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,782 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $25,916 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,204 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the Corolla’s broad appeal and practical reputation should help keep demand steady. A lower entry price today can also make it easier for future buyers to see value in a well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $27,584 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $25,916 CAD average.
• It adds a more stylish, more rewarding driving feel.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better value if you want a well-equipped Corolla at a softer price, especially if you are shopping carefully for a good deal. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year with a more polished driving character, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
