Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru BRZ?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 71 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,457 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru BRZ's resale value?

The current average of $30,957 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,869 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range gives you a better chance of protecting your value. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru BRZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 BRZ makes sense if you want the current model year with proven owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one available.
