How much does the 2024 RAM 3500 cost?

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 RAM 3500, and that lines up with its clear use case as a heavy-duty truck built for serious capability. The overview points to a model that blends major towing and payload strength with the kind of technology and comfort you’d want if you also plan to use it as a daily driver. It is especially appealing if you prioritise towing, payload, and heavy-duty utility over compact manoeuvrability or a quieter, more car-like experience. With 33.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful share of the market that may be worth your attention.

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a truck built around proven heavy-duty capability, with a powerful Cummins turbo diesel engine and a focus on comfort and technology rather than novelty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s mission and more about whether you can live with its size, diesel noise, and heavy-duty operating costs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 376 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $70,891 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $70,891 CAD sits slightly below last year's $84,271 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck is equipped for the heavy-duty buyer pool. Strong capability and broad appeal among towing-focused shoppers can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of capability, comfort, and current-market value, the 2024 is the sensible choice. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever listing gives you the best condition and equipment for the money.
