What is the 2024 RAM 2500's resale value?

The current average of $69,808 CAD sits slightly below last year's $80,901 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. A softer current average can also mean future buyers may be more price-sensitive, so condition, mileage, and service records will matter even more. If demand stays steady, well-kept examples should still hold appeal because this truck’s capability and feature set remain a strong draw.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $67,863 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $69,808 CAD average.
• It offers strong capability with a comfortable, well-equipped cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $79,488 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $69,808 CAD average.
• It adds even more luxury and refinement to serious heavy-duty capability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of capability, comfort, and a softer market price than last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer, more refined direction and are willing to pay more.
