Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearSurrey, BC

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,052 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns 4.3/5 from owners and 7.3/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Rogue’s appeal is rooted in its refreshed styling, modern tech, and upscale cabin in higher trims. It’s a compact crossover that leans into comfort, convenience, and a more premium-feeling interior rather than outright driving excitement.

Cons: Poor ride quality and fairly pedestrian performance are the main trade-offs, so you should not expect it to feel especially sporty.

Market availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop around.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue’s powertrain is described as impressive, and the model’s overall package is built around updated technology and a well-appointed cabin. Its VC-Turbo engine is presented as a standout feature, and the vehicle’s fuel economy is a strength for a gas-only compact SUV.

Nissan’s warranty coverage is about average for the segment, and the Rogue’s maintenance and ownership costs are framed as competitive rather than exceptional. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the CVT and firmer ride may affect satisfaction more than outright durability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum. Base S models miss some of the more premium touches, while Platinum brings the most upscale cabin treatment, including leather seats and quilted stitching.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It is strong for the class, but the CVT can dull the response.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version with navigation-linked slowing for curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV at 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.7 L/100 km highway, and 7.6 L/100 km combined. SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Rogue’s core strengths, including the efficient turbo engine, standard AWD, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more comfort and convenience without jumping too far up the price ladder, making it a sensible middle-ground choice.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger feature mix, including the more advanced ProPilot Assist setup and added convenience equipment.
• SL: This is the trim to target if you want the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a more upscale tech experience.
• Platinum: This is the most premium Rogue, with the most upscale cabin treatment, leather seats, quilted stitching, and the richest feature set.

ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get the more advanced navigation-linked version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,052 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,236 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,236 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,939 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Rogue is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly. If you own one, the market has already absorbed a meaningful drop, which can limit near-term upside if you plan to sell soon.

On the other hand, the Rogue’s strong technology story and broad appeal in the compact SUV segment should help it remain easy to shop and compare. Well-equipped trims with desirable features may hold attention better than bare-bones examples.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS. It also received an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test and a “Good” headlight rating. It earns five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that adds navigation-linked slowing for curves and interchanges.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings Google built-in apps and a notable tech overhaul.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,312 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,236 CAD average.
• It adds a new turbocharged engine and a Midnight Edition package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $29,820 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,236 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road character and ProPilot Assist 2.1.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best fit if you want the newest tech update and a strong used-market price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the latest feature additions and can stretch your budget.
