Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearMarkham, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,006 listings available, which suggests you should have a decent range of choices.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — with a 4.2/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, the 2024 Nissan Rogue looks like a strong pick if you want a compact crossover with a modern tech focus. The model’s refreshed styling and Google built-in apps give it a more up-to-date feel, and the cabin is a clear highlight, especially in higher trims.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The trade-offs are worth noting: the ride quality is poor, and the overall driving experience is fairly pedestrian. Even so, if you value a more premium-feeling interior and a standout infotainment setup, the Rogue fits that brief well.

Only 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Rogue is presented as a well-rounded compact crossover with a strong powertrain and a cabin that feels more upscale in higher trims. Its engine is described as impressive, and the vehicle’s overall package leans toward modern tech and everyday usability rather than complexity for its own sake.

The powertrain is a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder with variable compression, which is meant to balance power and fuel economy depending on conditions. That kind of engineering can be a plus if you want efficiency without giving up too much punch. Nissan also includes a three-year, 60,000-kilometre basic warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk.

For used buyers, the main long-term concern is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the Rogue’s less polished ride and CVT behaviour over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum trims differ most in cabin finish, wheel design, and tech content. Base S models are the most stripped back, while Platinum brings the most upscale interior treatment, including leather seats and quilted stitching.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard AWD in Canada. It is strong on paper, but the transmission can dull response.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version with navigation-linked slowing for curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV trims at 8.4/6.7/7.6 L/100 km city/highway/combined, while SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Rogue formula, including AWD, the turbocharged engine, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the larger screen and richer cabin materials.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the upper end of the range. It is a sensible step up if you want a better-equipped Rogue without paying for the most expensive tech and luxury features.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete feature set while staying below the luxury-leaning upper trims. It builds on the SV formula with more equipment and is the sweet spot for many shoppers.
• SL: This is where the Rogue’s tech story gets much stronger, with the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the more advanced driver-assist setup. Choose it if infotainment and convenience matter most.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale Rogue, with the richest cabin treatment, leather seats, quilted stitching, and the most premium feel overall. It suits you best if you want the most polished version of the model.

The SV trim gets the basic version of ProPilot Assist, while SL and Platinum receive the more advanced version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,006 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,336 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,336 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,020 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Rogue more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means you may need to price competitively if you want to move the vehicle quickly.

The Rogue’s strong tech appeal and broad mainstream appeal should help keep it relevant with shoppers who want a well-equipped compact SUV. But the softer pricing trend means resale gains are likely to depend more on trim, condition, and equipment than on model-year momentum alone.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test on both the driver and passenger side, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS. It also received an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test and a “Good” headlight rating. It also earns five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV trim, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps, which are key updates for this year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,385 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,336 CAD average.
• It adds a new turbocharged engine and a Midnight Edition package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $29,999 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,336 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road character and ProPilot Assist 2.1.

The bottom line: If you want the newest tech and refreshed styling, the 2024 is the better all-around choice. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer off-road-flavoured trim and updated driver assistance.
