Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — 4.75/5 is a strong user rating for a three-row SUV, and the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder backs that up with family-friendly practicality and a more rugged look. It gives you room for eight as standard, easy third-row access with EZ Flex seating, and a modern cabin with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want a used SUV that feels current without giving up space or capability, it fits that brief well. With 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder’s appeal comes from its well-rounded design, standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and a broad set of comfort and convenience features. It also brings useful capability, including available towing of up to 2,720 kilograms and seven terrain modes for added confidence. For used buyers, that combination points to a vehicle that should make sense for everyday family use, though long-term ownership risk still depends on how well the specific example has been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 436 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,722 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $41,722 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,395 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you may have less depreciation pressure than buyers who paid closer to the earlier average. The Pathfinder’s broad family appeal should still help it remain relevant in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,759 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,722 CAD average.
• It adds the Rock Creek edition for a tougher-looking, more distinctive trim.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $49,813 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,722 CAD average.
• It focuses on a well-rounded, practical package with improved everyday appeal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a current-feeling Pathfinder with strong family utility and a softer market price than last year. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer model year.
