How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. In Canada, it brings a standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system, 4Matic all-wheel drive, and a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, so you get a compact luxury sedan that blends traction, efficiency, and everyday performance. The cabin is a major strength, with an S-Class-inspired design, a large touchscreen, a digital instrument display, and wireless smartphone integration. With 45.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you a decent chance to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 C-Class is still relatively new, which means many used examples should have modern hardware and current-generation technology. Its standard safety equipment and premium engineering are encouraging signs for day-to-day ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that equipment levels can vary a lot from one example to another, so you should verify the features and condition carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, especially if you want a newer luxury sedan with strong equipment and a softer used price than last year.

• Deal availability: 45.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 197 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,954 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $42,954 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,896 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit how much value a future seller can recover in the short term. If you buy at the right price, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong demand for a current-generation luxury sedan can still help support resale, especially if the car is well equipped and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 45.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the newer-generation C-Class with current tech, a premium cabin, and a market price that has come down meaningfully. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2024 is the stronger choice when you want the latest feel and a better balance of price and equipment.
