What is the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $58,594 CAD sits slightly below last year's $66,092 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. If demand remains steady, the model’s current positioning could still support decent value retention. The key will be buying well now so you have less depreciation to absorb later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $55,580 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $58,594 CAD average.
• It offers a broader hybrid lineup with efficiency and performance choices.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $67,110 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $58,594 CAD average.
• It adds more powertrain variety and a more polished cabin.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around starting point if you want a well-rated RX Hybrid at a softened price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest and most flexible setup, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
