Used 2024 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearLongueuil, QC

How much does the 2024 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 9.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 128 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.33/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and user-friendly features, and they also like its practical layout and attractive pricing compared with other trucks. For you, that means the Ridgeline makes the most sense if you want a midsize truck that feels easy to live with every day rather than one built around hard-core truck duties.

The main trade-offs are its irritating transmission and limited off-roading capability. It also has unimpressive towing capacity for the class, so it suits you best if your priorities are comfort, practicality, and straightforward usability.

With 28.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, practicality, and the kind of everyday usability that makes the truck easy to count on. The expert evaluation also describes it as easy to drive and live with, with a robust V6 that helps reinforce its durable character.

Honda’s maintenance coverage can also help reduce early ownership friction when it applies. For used buyers, the bigger risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the truck’s age, transmission behaviour, and capability limits fit your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2024 Ridgeline is offered in three trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The Sport is the most affordable version and now gets the same 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, while the TrailSport adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, underbody protection, and exclusive paint. The Black Edition adds more premium tech and audio equipment.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. It is smooth and quick on the road, but the transmission can be irritating and the truck’s off-road ability is limited.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. The Sport also adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, HondaLink connected services, and a seven-speaker stereo. The Black Edition adds HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 11.6 L/100 km combined, or 11.5 L/100 km for non-TrailSport models.

Which 2024 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the best-value choice if you want the Ridgeline’s core strengths without paying for extras. You still get the updated 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, and standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
• TrailSport: This is the trim to choose if you want the most rugged-looking and most off-road-focused Ridgeline. It adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, underbody protection, and unique styling touches, but it is still best suited to light-duty trail use rather than serious off-roading.
• Black Edition: This is the pick if you want the most upscale version, with extra USB ports, HD Radio, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.

The Sport now benefits from the key 2024 tech and safety upgrades, so it remains the smartest buy for most shoppers.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,443 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $47,687 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,586 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Ridgeline easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim desirability. Well-equipped examples with the right features should still attract interest, especially because the truck has strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline earns an Acceptable score in the IIHS small overlap frontal-impact test and Marginal ratings for its headlights. It earns five-star ratings across the board except for rollover resistance, where it scores a four-star rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. The 2024 Sport also adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, which is a useful upgrade if you are shopping the entry trim.

The main caveat is that some of the driver-assistance tech can feel intrusive, especially in heavier traffic, and the IIHS headlight result is a weak point. Even so, the overall crash-test picture is strong enough to make safety one of the Ridgeline’s better qualities.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a new TrailSport trim, updated tech, and a more modern interior.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,689 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,687 CAD average.
• It is a practical, daily-driver-friendly outlier among midsize trucks.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $51,437 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,687 CAD average.
• It carries forward the Ridgeline’s easy-to-live-with, practical character.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version of the Ridgeline, the 2024 is the best target because it brings meaningful updates without losing the truck’s core strengths. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you find a cleaner example or a better-equipped listing at a fair premium.
