Used 2024 Honda Passport for Sale nearLondon, ON

How much does the 2024 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 11.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 59 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — you get a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The 2024 Honda Passport takes a straightforward approach in the midsize SUV segment, focusing on a proven engine, easy-to-use technology, plenty of cargo space, a comfortable ride, and standard all-wheel drive. It is especially appealing if you want a practical crossover SUV that prioritises space and all-weather confidence over flashy styling or oversized screens.

The trade-offs are that it is not especially fuel efficient, and its pricing starts higher than the competition. Even so, 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find value.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Passport’s reliability case is built around a proven 3.5-litre V6, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and a simple, easy-to-use layout. The expert review also describes the drivetrain as unobtrusive when shifting, which is the kind of everyday behaviour that tends to matter in long-term ownership. Honda’s standard all-wheel drive and traction-management system add confidence for Canadian conditions.

You should still expect used-buyer risk around fuel costs and the possibility that a higher-mileage example may show the usual wear associated with a vehicle that is designed to do a lot of practical work.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Passport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Passport comes in Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition. Every trim gets all-wheel drive, a power moonroof, and identical touchscreens, so the base trim does not miss out on the core hardware. The TrailSport adds the most rugged look and feel with all-terrain tyres, roof rails, and LED fog lights.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Passport uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is tuned for strong everyday power rather than maximum efficiency, and fuel economy is not a strength.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. Those features are standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a wireless charging pad. The Black Edition adds native navigation and a 10-speaker audio system, while other trims use a seven-speaker setup.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 12.5 L/100 km in the city, 9.8 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Passport is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the trim to start with if you want the Passport’s core strengths without paying for extra appearance or off-road touches. It still gets AWD, the power moonroof, and the same touchscreen setup as the rest of the range, so it covers the essentials well.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Passport’s more adventurous character. It adds all-terrain tyres, off-road-tuned suspension, roof rails, LED fog lights, and a more rugged interior treatment with black leather and orange contrast stitching.
• Black Edition: Choose this if you want the most upscale presentation and the extra tech and audio equipment. It is the only trim with native navigation in Canada and the upgraded 10-speaker audio system.

Honda Sensing is standard on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some negotiating room if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 59 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,639 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $45,666 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,409 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for a future seller to attract interest if the vehicle is well kept and priced realistically. The softer market also means you may not see the same resale upside that a stronger-priced model year might deliver. Even so, the Passport’s practical strengths should help it remain appealing to shoppers who want space, comfort, and standard AWD.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport safe?

The 2024 Honda Passport earns an Acceptable rating in the passenger-side small overlap crash test from IIHS and a Marginal rating in the updated side-impact crash tests. The NHTSA gives it five-star ratings overall, with four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. That is a comprehensive standard safety package, especially for families and commuters.

The main caveat is that the Passport’s crash-test results are not class-leading, so if top-tier test performance is your priority, you should pay close attention to those ratings when comparing used examples.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 Passport is refreshed, but it still keeps the simple formula of a proven engine, easy-to-use technology, and practical capability.

The bottom line: If you want the Passport’s straightforward mix of space, comfort, and standard AWD, the 2024 model is a sensible choice, especially now that prices have eased. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
