Is the 2024 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Honda Accord, and that lines up with its practical, refined, easy-to-live-with character. The Accord is described as refreshed rather than radically changed, so you get a familiar midsize sedan formula with a more modern, technology-rich feel. It also keeps the core strengths that matter for daily use: a roomy rear seat, an expansive cargo hold, and a high-quality cabin with a near-luxury feel in better-equipped versions.

For you, that means the Accord makes the most sense if you want a spacious family sedan with comfort, safety, and everyday usability at the centre of the experience. 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Accord is presented as a car that keeps Honda’s traditional strengths intact, including a polished driving experience and strong reliability expectations. Its familiar hybrid setup and gas-only turbo option are part of a well-established formula, and the overall package is built around ease of ownership rather than complexity.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying a premium for a car that is already priced on the high side compared with several rivals.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 97 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,313 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $30,313 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,521 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment if prices continue to normalise. The Accord’s strong reputation for practicality and refinement should still support demand, especially among shoppers who want a roomy, well-equipped sedan. Even so, the current trend suggests you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,672 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,313 CAD average.
• It is an engaging, spacious family sedan with strong safety appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer, more technology-rich Accord and are comfortable paying a bit more for it. If your priority is value, the 2023 is the better secondary path because it delivers much of the same core Accord appeal for less money.
