Used 2024 Ford Mustang for Sale near Manitoba

How much does the 2024 Ford Mustang cost?

Prices are up 1.39% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 222 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Mustang earns a 4.8/5 user rating, and the expert rating is 7.2/10. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the strong performance, impressive speed, and engaging handling, while also liking the engine sound and updated technology. The manual transmission is another recurring highlight for drivers who want a more involved experience.

The trade-offs are familiar Mustang ones: the cabin is not especially practical, with a cramped back seat and limited cargo space, and the car can be noisy. That makes it a better fit if you want a fun, nostalgic sports car rather than a do-everything daily driver.

With a 32.9% share of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to enthusiasts: strong performance, a satisfying driving experience, and technology that owners appreciate over time. The expert assessment also describes the Mustang as easy to drive and well sorted, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

The main used-buyer risk is that a sporty car with this much performance can hide harder use, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and signs of wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Mustang?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models use separate screens, while Premium models place the displays in a single enclosure, and the cabin gets a more modern look with improved materials and fewer hard plastics.
• Powertrain: The EcoBoost 2.3-litre turbo four-cylinder makes 315 horsepower and is paired with a 10-speed automatic, while GT models use a 5.0-litre V8 with a six-speed manual standard and a 10-speed automatic available.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control and a safe passenger exit warning are available.
• Infotainment: All models get a 13.2-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa integration, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. A native navigation system and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system are optional.
• Fuel efficiency: The EcoBoost is rated at 10.8 L/100 km city, 7.1 L/100 km highway, and 9.2 L/100 km combined. The Performance Pack raises that to 11.1/8.2/9.8 L/100 km, while the V8 GT is rated at 15.8/9.8/13.1 L/100 km with the automatic and 16.6/10.2/13.8 L/100 km with the manual.

Which 2024 Ford Mustang trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Mustang is offered in 4 trim levels: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• EcoBoost: This is the value play if you want the Mustang experience at the lowest entry point, with the 315-horsepower turbo four-cylinder, standard 13.2-inch touchscreen, and the core safety and connectivity features. It suits you best if you care more about style, tech, and everyday fun than maximum power.
• EcoBoost Premium: Choose this if you want the same engine but a more upscale cabin presentation, including the single-screen layout and the nicer interior treatment. It is the better pick if you want the Mustang to feel more polished without jumping to V8 pricing.
• GT: This is the enthusiast choice, thanks to the 5.0-litre V8, standard manual transmission, and much stronger performance. If you want the most authentic muscle-car character, this is the trim to target.
• GT Premium: This is the top choice if you want V8 performance plus the more upscale interior presentation and available convertible configuration. It is the best fit if you want the fullest Mustang experience and are willing to pay for it.

Safety equipment is standard across the lineup, while adaptive cruise control and the safe passenger exit warning remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Mustang?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some patience and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.39% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $49,107 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $53,540 CAD sits slightly above last year's $52,808 CAD.

That upward movement suggests the Mustang is holding demand well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A model year that is still appreciating modestly can be easier to price confidently, especially when shoppers continue to value its performance and heritage. Strong demand also helps support resale strength when the car has been well maintained and presented cleanly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang safe?

The 2024 Ford Mustang earns Good ratings from IIHS except for the driver-side small overlap test, where it scored Acceptable. It also earned five-star ratings across the board in prior NHTSA testing of the previous generation on which it is based.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control and a safe passenger exit warning are available as options.

The main caveat is that the current model’s own crash-test results were not yet available in the source material, so you should weigh the strong standard equipment against the inherited test history.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.39% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is the final tour for the Mustang’s seventh-generation formula, with meaningful interior and technology upgrades.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of updated tech, classic Mustang character, and solid owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, you can still shop carefully and look for a lower-priced example near the bottom of the year-round range.
