Is the 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview presents it as a thoroughly redesigned heavy-duty truck with a beefy frame and heavier-hitting powertrains, which supports the idea that it was engineered for demanding use. It also highlights towing-focused technology such as onboard scales, trailer-aware surround-view monitoring, trailer navigation, adaptive cruise control with lane centring, and Pro Trailer hitch, all of which suggest a truck built to handle work with more confidence.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s mission and more about whether a previous owner used its heavy-duty capability hard and maintained it properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Inventory: There are 263 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.33% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $77,338 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $86,209 CAD sits slightly above last year's $84,249 CAD.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this truck’s capability and feature set. Because the 2024 model year is positioned as a serious heavy-duty work truck with modern technology, it should remain attractive to buyers who need towing strength and a more refined cabin. If demand stays steady, that combination can help support stronger resale performance than you might expect from a large work-focused truck.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.33% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of modern tech, heavy-duty capability, and broad configuration choice, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2024 still stands out if you want a truck that feels current and capable without giving up the core F-350 strengths.
