Used 2024 Ford F-150 for Sale nearNew Westminster, BC

How much does the 2024 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 10.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,797 listings available, which suggests you should have a solid range of choices.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford F-150 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its powerful engine, smooth driving experience, and strong towing capability. The review feedback also points to a broad feature set at a more accessible price than higher trims, which fits a truck aimed at everything from school runs to hauling supplies and towing toys to the lake.

The trade-offs are familiar ones for a full-size truck: the ride can feel bouncy when unladen, and some buyers may find the value proposition less compelling once options add up. Even so, the combination of capability and convenience makes it a strong fit if you want one truck to cover work and family duties.

It also sits in a market where 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a truck that feels powerful, smooth, and dependable in day-to-day use, with many drivers saying they can count on its towing capability and feature set. The expert review also highlights a 10-speed automatic that does its job in the background and stays in the right gear, which supports the impression of easy, trouble-free operation.

Ford also includes a three-year/60,000-kilometre factory warranty and a five-year/100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which helps with early ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-spec trucks can become expensive to maintain and repair once warranty coverage is gone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford F-150?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base XL is pretty spartan, while higher trims add more luxury and convenience; the King Ranch stands out with heated and ventilated front leather seats, heated rear seats, wood trim, and ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: You have a turbocharged 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6, a 3.5-litre turbo V6 hybrid with 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque on select trims, a 5.0-litre V8 in the Tremor, and a 5.2-litre supercharged V8 in the Raptor R.
• Safety package: Ford CoPilot 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert; a 360-degree camera is recommended on higher trims, and BlueCruise is available on Tremor and up.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5G LTE hotspot, wireless charging, and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid can return 11.4 L/100 km in the city, 10.1 on the highway, and 10.8 combined; the Raptor R is rated at 19.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Platinum Plus, Tremor, and Raptor R.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the most affordable way into the F-150, but it is pretty spartan, so it makes sense mainly if you want the truck’s core capability and plan to keep costs down.
• XLT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it balances equipment, comfort, and available upgrades without pushing you deep into luxury-truck pricing.
• Lariat: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and more available technology, especially if you are willing to pay for a richer daily-driving experience.
• King Ranch: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with the most distinctive cabin treatment and comfort features for buyers who want their truck to feel premium.
• Platinum: This suits you if you want a high-end F-150 with a polished look and strong feature content, but without going all the way to the most exclusive trim.
• Platinum Plus: This is the most upscale non-specialty trim mentioned here, aimed at buyers who want extra luxury and a more decadent cabin.
• Tremor: This is the better pick if you want off-road hardware and the 5.0-litre V8, plus features like Trail Turn Assist and Trail Control.
• Raptor R: This is the extreme performance off-road choice, with the supercharged V8, massive tyres, and serious desert-running hardware.

For safety, note that some advanced driver-assistance features are not standard, so it is worth checking equipment carefully by trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford F-150?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,797 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,810 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $54,810 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,185 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also mean future sellers face more competition. If you own one, the current softness could limit short-term upside, especially on higher-priced trims where depreciation can feel steeper in dollar terms.

Still, the F-150’s broad appeal and strong feature set should help it remain in demand with used buyers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 safe?

The 2024 Ford F-150 earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, with five-star side-crash and frontal-crash ratings and four-star rollover ratings. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2024 F-150 SuperCrew a Good rating in driver- and passenger-side crashworthiness, but front-crash testing received a Poor rating for possible injuries to rear-seat passengers.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2024 F-150 comes with Ford CoPilot 360, which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert. A 360-degree camera is recommended on higher trims, and BlueCruise is available on Tremor and up, along with lane-change assist and lane-repositioning.

The main caveat is that some advanced safety features are not standard, and the IIHS front-crash result is a notable weakness to keep in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds updated BlueCruise, a standard 12-inch touchscreen, and a multi-functional tailgate.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,333 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,810 CAD average.
• It adds the debut of the Raptor R and the XLT Heritage Edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $60,026 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $54,810 CAD average.
• It broadens the lineup with more driver-assistance systems and a Platinum Plus package.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current features and market softness, the 2024 is the sensible pick. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the broadest lineup and more new tech, the 2025 is worth a look.
