This is our second Edge and sadly our last since this is the last model year.?it is a very versatile car with plenty of cargo space. It drives really well and is very comfortable on long drives.

Great vehicle. Ford is making a mistake discontinuing them.
Oct 15, 2023
Great value, AWD ,nice lines , great engine compared to the Lincoln Corsair and the fact that the edge engine utilizes a timing CHAIN vs the timing belt and by the way Toyota and Honda both use the timing belt if you do not change the timing belt every 70-80,000 miles it could destroy your engine

How much does the 2024 Ford Edge cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $30,178 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $30,178 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $36,527 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $36,539 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −17.41% |
Prices have softened 17.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 344 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.
Is the 2024 Ford Edge a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Ford Edge earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. That kind of feedback can make it easier for you to feel confident in the used market, especially when you are comparing similar SUVs. The market also shows 32.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Ford Edge reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce perceived ownership risk, especially if the vehicle has been maintained well and priced in line with the market.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Edge?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without needing to rush every listing.
- Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 344 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 17.41% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $30,178 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Ford Edge's resale value?
The current average of $30,178 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,539 CAD.
That price movement suggests you may be buying after a meaningful market correction, which can help if you plan to own the vehicle for a few years before selling. If prices stay near current levels, future depreciation may be more manageable than it was a year ago. Strong current demand can also help support resale performance when you are ready to move on.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Ford Edge or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 17.41% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2024 Ford Edge makes the most sense if you want the current model year with a strong owner rating and a market that has already come down meaningfully in price. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better starting point if you want a balanced mix of value and buyer confidence.
