Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearWinnipeg, MB

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 369 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out for covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a practical small SUV for you if you want a subcompact crossover that feels roomier and more accommodating than its size suggests.

The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is underwhelming, and overall performance is fairly pedestrian. If stronger acceleration matters most to you, this may not be the best fit.

With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive value opportunities.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a worthy rival in the subcompact SUV class, with a mix of performance, efficiency, price, and capability that should suit many practical buyers. Its expert assessment also points to a vehicle that checks the necessary boxes without major red flags in day-to-day use.

The powertrains are described as efficient and adequate for normal driving, though the base engine is notably weak and the transmission response can feel slow. The good news is that the available features functioned as expected during testing, which supports confidence in everyday dependability.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the least powerful versions may leave you wanting more refinement and passing power.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the 11-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but the more upscale versions add a more polished feel and available fabric inserts that make the cabin more inviting.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and a turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder with 155 hp; the stronger engine is the better choice if you want more usable performance.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the system is easy to use. A native navigation system is not offered.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the standard 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and core safety tech make it a solid starting point if you want the Trailblazer’s basics without stretching the budget.
• LT: This is the best-value choice because it unlocks the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for only a small price increase, and that upgrade is strongly recommended.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful engine and all-wheel drive, and it suits you if you want the Trailblazer’s available capability with a more adventurous setup.
• RS: This is the top-priced version with the available all-wheel-drive setup, so it makes sense if you want the most fully equipped Trailblazer.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the optional Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 369 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,997 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $25,997 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,235 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means future resale values may remain under some pressure if market conditions stay similar. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to attract attention.

The Trailblazer’s broad appeal, practical cabin, and strong value proposition should still help it hold interest among used buyers. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer was awarded five-out-of-five stars in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations, as well as four stars for rollover protection, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it its highest score of "good" in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a more modern cabin, a larger standard 11-inch touchscreen, and a stronger overall value proposition.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,893 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,997 CAD average.
• It offers stylish design and easy-to-use technology at a relatively affordable price point.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more refined Trailblazer, the 2024 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains a sensible alternative.
