Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearWaterloo, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.25% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 357 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns 4/5 from users and 6.8/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out for its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology, and it goes beyond the basics in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up a more polished overall package.

The main trade-off is performance: the base engine is underwhelming, and acceleration is fairly pedestrian. If you value comfort, usability, and space more than outright speed, that compromise is easier to live with.

29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a decent amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a practical, well-rounded small SUV that covers the basics well while also exceeding expectations in space, style, and ease of use. Its powertrains are described as efficient and its ride as comfortable, which supports the case for everyday dependability.

The base engine is modest, but the vehicle’s straightforward mechanical setup and easy-to-use technology should keep ownership simple for many buyers. For used shoppers, the main long-term risk is choosing a poorly maintained example with the weaker powertrain if you expect brisk performance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LS trim is the starting point, but the LT adds the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for a relatively small step up. The Activ and RS sit at the top of the range with AWD pricing, and the LT is the best-value choice if you want the stronger engine without stretching too far.
• Powertrain: The base 1.2-litre turbo three-cylinder makes 137 hp and is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The upgraded 1.3-litre turbo three-cylinder makes 155 hp and uses a nine-speed automatic with AWD, and it is the better pick if you want more confident passing and highway merging.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors, while adaptive cruise control is available separately on certain trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen on all trims, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Satellite radio is standard, but there is no native navigation system, so smartphone integration matters here.
• Fuel efficiency: The base FWD setup is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km city, 7.7 L/100 km highway, and 7.8 L/100 km combined. The AWD turbo setup is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 L/100 km highway, and 7.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the base 1.2-litre engine is the weakest part of the Trailblazer package. It makes sense only if your priority is keeping the purchase price down and you are comfortable with modest performance.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it unlocks the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for a relatively small price increase. If you want the Trailblazer to feel more relaxed in daily driving, this is the one to target.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful engine and AWD, and it suits you if you want a more capable-feeling version with a bit more presence.
• RS: This is the top trim and is priced alongside the Activ with AWD. Choose it if you want the most style-focused version of the Trailblazer lineup.

Standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 357 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,100 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,148 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,463 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer is currently more accessible to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale value may face some pressure if market conditions stay similar.

Even so, the model’s practical strengths and broad appeal should help it remain relevant with shoppers looking for a small SUV that balances style, space, and usability.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations, and four stars for rollover protection from NHTSA. It also received the IIHS top score of Good in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors, while adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings a refreshed look, a larger standard 11-inch touchscreen, and strong crash-test results.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,084 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,148 CAD average.
• It offers stylish design and strong value for money.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the better-equipped, more polished version with stronger market support and a fresher cabin. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains the smarter value play.
