Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 12.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 343 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out in the subcompact SUV class by covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. Its strongest points are its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology, which give it a more appealing personality than many rivals in the segment.

The main trade-off is performance: the base engine is underwhelming, and overall acceleration is fairly pedestrian. That said, if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up a more polished overall package, it fits that use case well.

28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which is a decent sign of market flexibility.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a practical, well-rounded small SUV that checks the necessary boxes for performance, efficiency, price, and capability. Its expert assessment also points to a vehicle that does well in everyday use, with a comfortable ride and easy-to-use controls.

Its powertrain is described as adequate rather than impressive, and the base engine is called anemic with slow transmission responses. The 1.3-litre setup is better, but still not especially strong, so long-term ownership satisfaction will likely depend more on whether you value comfort and usability over brisk acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the standard 11-inch touchscreen, but the more powerful 1.3-litre engine is recommended, and the Activ trim adds a more capable all-wheel-drive setup and a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, or a turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder with 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. The 1.2-litre uses a CVT and front-wheel drive, while the 1.3-litre pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is fitted on all trim levels, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Satellite radio is also standard, but there is no native navigation system.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and standard safety basics make it a usable starting point if you want the lowest-cost Trailblazer.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it unlocks the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for only a small price increase, making the Trailblazer feel more complete without a huge jump in cost.
• Activ: This trim suits you if you want the available all-wheel-drive setup and a more capable, slightly more adventurous character.
• RS: This is the top-priced Trailblazer with available all-wheel drive, so it makes sense if you want the most upscale version of the lineup.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the optional Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and some pricing softness to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 343 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,279 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,279 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,043 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Trailblazer has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or lightly used. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. Strong value positioning and broad appeal should still help keep demand steady.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer was awarded five-out-of-five stars in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations, as well as four stars for rollover protection, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it its highest score of "good" in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a more modern look, a larger standard 11-inch touchscreen, and a stronger overall package of space and usability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,236 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,279 CAD average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with stylish design and strong value for money.

The 2024 is the better pick if you want the more polished and up-to-date Trailblazer, especially with its improved cabin presentation and standard tech. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains the more budget-friendly route.
