Used 2024 Chevrolet Suburban for Sale near Quebec

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 2.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 68 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the market.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

The 2024 Chevrolet Suburban earns an expert rating of 7.5/10. It is especially well suited to big families with big hobbies, and it remains a strong fit if you need serious space, towing ability, and truck-like capability in one vehicle.

The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Form and function.

Its biggest strengths are its massively useful cargo capacity, excellent powertrain options, and great towing capability. The trade-offs are that the V8s are not fuel-efficient and the technology is underwhelming.

For shoppers who need a full-size SUV that can handle people, gear, and trailers, the Suburban still makes a compelling case. Good and great deals account for 33.8% of listings, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

The 2024 Chevrolet Suburban is presented as a durable, body-on-frame family hauler with a long-running nameplate and a truck-based design that suits heavy-duty use. Its 2021 redesign brought an independent rear suspension, which improved third-row space and helped make the cabin more usable for families.

From an expert perspective, the Suburban’s powertrains are a highlight: the available diesel is described as a sweet engine with plenty of acceleration and great passing power, and the 10-speed automatic is well tuned. The vehicle’s size and weight are still part of the ownership equation, though, so you should expect a large-SUV learning curve and plan for the demands that come with hauling and towing.

If you buy used, long-term ownership risk is mainly tied to running costs and the realities of maintaining a large, expensive SUV rather than to any single standout flaw.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Suburban?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LS starts with cloth seats and an 8-inch screen, while higher trims add leather upholstery, larger wheels, and more upscale cabin materials. The base trim also misses some of the nicer standard touches found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 5.3-litre V8, a 6.2-litre V8, and a Duramax 3.0-litre turbodiesel six-cylinder. The diesel is the efficiency-minded pick, while the V8s prioritise power and towing.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, front and rear park assist, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, and Chevy’s Teen Driver feature. Rear cross-traffic alert is available on lower trims and standard on higher ones.
• Infotainment: Most trims get a 10.2-inch touchscreen, while the base LS uses an 8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Google Built-in are included.
• Fuel efficiency: The diesel delivers significantly better fuel economy than the V8s, but the V8s are not fuel-efficient.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Suburban trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Suburban is offered in 6 trim levels: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Suburban’s core space and capability at the lowest price. It makes sense if you want the biggest savings and can live with the simpler cabin and smaller infotainment screen.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience without jumping into the much pricier upper end of the lineup. It is a sensible middle ground if you want a nicer daily driver.
• RST: Choose this if you want a more style-focused Suburban with the stronger available engine options. It suits buyers who want a sportier look without moving all the way to luxury territory.
• Z71: This is the trim to consider if you want the more rugged-leaning setup and standard 4WD. It is the right fit if your use case includes tougher roads or more demanding winter driving.
• Premier: This is the first trim that really leans into luxury and can be equipped with Super Cruise. It is a strong pick if you want a more premium experience and advanced driver assistance.
• High Country: This is the top trim, with the most upscale presentation, 22-inch wheels, and access to the most premium features. It is best if you want the most luxurious Suburban experience and are comfortable paying for it.

The Premier and High Country trims can be equipped with Super Cruise as part of the Advanced Technology Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Suburban?

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $70,821 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $75,203 CAD sits slightly below last year's $76,742 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means the Suburban is not currently showing strong upward price momentum.

If you own one for several years, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, trim, and how well the vehicle has been equipped for the kind of work buyers expect from a full-size SUV.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, front and rear park assist, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, and Chevy’s Teen Driver feature. Rear cross-traffic alert is available on lower trims and standard on higher ones.

Super Cruise is available on the Premier and High Country trims as part of the Advanced Technology Package.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.01% compared with last year.
• It still delivers strong space, towing, and family-hauling capability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $88,320 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $75,203 CAD average.
• It brings a much larger touchscreen and a more modern interior.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter buy because it offers the Suburban’s core strengths at a lower average price. If your priority is the newest tech and you can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the more appealing choice.
