Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It is built around space, capability, and long-haul usefulness, with a huge cabin, strong towing ability, and cargo room that suits families and buyers who need one vehicle to do many jobs. Its size can be a drawback in tight urban settings, but if you value space and versatility, it fits that brief well. There are 32.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban is described as broadly well liked by owners, with few complaints logged for this generation. Its appeal comes from being a durable, practical full-size SUV that is built for space, towing, and everyday versatility. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about the realities of running a large, thirsty SUV over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 61 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $63,859 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $64,214 CAD sits slightly below last year's $71,635 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Suburban easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if values keep easing. Because it remains a desirable full-size SUV with strong utility, resale should still benefit from steady demand among buyers who need space and towing ability. The current pricing also gives you a clearer benchmark for judging whether a used example is fairly positioned in the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $50,408 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $64,214 CAD average.
• It adds technology and safety upgrades, including standard Google built-in.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $74,225 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $64,214 CAD average.
• It remains especially well suited to big families with big hobbies.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of value, satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter budget path, while the 2024 makes sense if you want to pay more for a newer model-year position.
