Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac XT5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Cadillac XT5's resale value?

The current average of $45,157 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,670 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more than usual. Strong demand from satisfied owners can still help support values over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac XT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,705 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,157 CAD average.
• The 2023 offers strong value, a roomy cabin, and a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a decent pool of deal opportunities. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better path because it delivers similar appeal for less money.
