Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.92% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $30,650 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,343 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable entry point today, but it also means future resale value may depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and presented. If market prices stay near the current level, a clean, well-documented example should be easier to move than one with visible wear or incomplete service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 21.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,021 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,650 CAD average.
• The 2025 adds sharper driving dynamics, better fuel economy, and a more polished cabin.

The bottom line: The 2024 makes the stronger value play if you want a used A3 at a softer price with decent deal availability. If you care more about the newer model's improved driving feel and upgraded refinement, the 2025 is the better upgrade, but you'll pay more for it.
