Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A3?

You’re looking at a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings closely and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 22.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,624 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $29,188 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,736 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make the car easier to shop now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay grounded in current market conditions rather than older pricing. If you buy well today, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 22.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.84% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,560 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,188 CAD average.
• It brings an all-new generation with upscale features and standard quattro AWD.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better fit if you want the stronger current-market balance of price movement and available listings. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still offers a premium compact-sedan feel.
