Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,974 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $30,448 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,751 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more attractive level today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average gives you a better cushion against depreciation. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds sharper performance, better fuel economy, and a more polished cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and there are still decent deal opportunities. If you care more about the latest driving feel and updated refinement, the 2025 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 deserves a close look first.
