Should I buy a 2024 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.07% compared with last year.
• It adds a new Type S Ultra trim with stronger performance.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $47,586 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $51,868 CAD average.
• It offers stylish design and strong safety ratings.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $59,274 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $51,868 CAD average.
• It brings a more intuitive user experience and a refreshed, more refined feel.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best pick if you want the strongest mix of value, performance, and safety in this generation. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the cheaper route; if you want a more intuitive cabin, the 2025 is the better upgrade.
