Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,266 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,354 CAD average.
• It offers broad choice across body styles, transmissions, and powertrains.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the newer model-year updates, stronger feature content, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value play, especially if you can find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
