Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearNorth Vancouver, BC

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 10.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 338 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating.

The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

It suits you best if you want a small luxury SUV that feels familiar rather than flashy, with a polished cabin and a relaxed daily driving experience. The trade-offs are that it does not offer much cargo space, and it is not very exciting to drive.

Its 6/10 cost-effectiveness score reflects a premium price point, while the 5/10 technology score points to an infotainment setup that is strong on capability but less intuitive in daily use.

There are 34.3% good or great deals in the market, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive listing.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 GLC is positioned as a refined, comfort-first luxury SUV, and its smooth power delivery and quiet cabin support that impression. Mercedes also gives you a well-rounded package of standard equipment, which can help reduce the need to add options just to get the basics you want.

Its powertrain is described as smooth and linear, with plenty of power for merging and passing, and the brakes are effective and easy to modulate. The cabin materials and construction are also called out as excellent, which is a good sign for day-to-day durability.

If you plan to buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium SUV with limited cargo space and more complex equipment can be costly if you need repairs or optional systems later.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the main focus here, and it brings a redesigned cabin with a large vertical infotainment touchscreen and a tablet-like instrument panel. The Coupe body style is a carryover with an older interior, so you should check whether you prefer the newer SUV layout or the Coupe’s different packaging.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a 9-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It is tuned for smooth, comfortable acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist are available with the optional Intelligent Drive package. The Coupe adds cross-traffic alerts and a surround-view camera as standard.
• Infotainment: The main screen is 11.9 inches, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The system is responsive and the voice recognition is strong, but the screen’s lower placement and the lack of physical buttons make it more distracting to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 is estimated at 10.4 L/100 km in city driving, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the one to focus on if you want the redesigned SUV with the best balance of comfort, premium materials, and efficiency. It is the best-value choice because it delivers the core GLC experience without pushing you into the more niche Coupe body style or higher-performance variants.

The safety package is straightforward: the standard SUV includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor, while the optional Intelligent Drive package adds more advanced assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 338 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,500 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $48,721 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,615 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the GLC easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller in the short term. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have a better chance of preserving value than someone who paid closer to last year’s peak. The model’s premium positioning and strong comfort appeal should still help it remain desirable with used luxury-SUV shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The previous GLC on which the returning Coupe is based received a five-out-of-five star rating from NHTSA for overall, frontal, and side crash protection. It also received top scores from the IIHS and was named a Top Safety Pick, its second-highest honour.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features and driver assistance technologies for the new GLC 300 include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist can be added with the optional Intelligent Drive package. The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera but otherwise, its Intelligent Drive package is identical to the new GLC.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is all-new for 2023, with a conservative redesign and a more polished interior.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,138 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $48,721 CAD average.
• It adds AMG variants back and broadens the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because it delivers the redesigned GLC experience at a lower average price. If you are willing to spend more for a broader lineup and newer-year availability, the 2024 is the alternative to watch.
