Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 12.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 348 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

It is aimed at you if you want a polished, upscale small luxury SUV that feels refined rather than flashy. The overview and expert notes both point to a comfortable cabin, premium materials, and a conservative redesign that keeps the GLC looking familiar while improving the interior.

The main trade-offs are that it does not offer much cargo space and it is not very exciting to drive. Those compromises matter less if your priority is everyday comfort and a premium feel, but they are worth weighing if you want a more practical or engaging SUV.

34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC is positioned as a refined, comfort-first luxury SUV, and the expert notes reinforce that it delivers a smooth ride, a quiet cabin, and a polished overall experience. The powertrain is described as smooth and easy to live with, and the braking and suspension tuning favour comfort over drama.

Mercedes also backs the model with a broad set of standard driver-assistance features, and the adaptive cruise control is described as smooth and trustworthy in use. That combination points to a vehicle that should feel reassuring in daily driving.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you are comfortable with a premium SUV that prioritises comfort and quality over versatility and excitement.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the redesigned model, while the GLC Coupe carries over the older design. The Coupe has a less practical body style, but it also keeps some usability advantages from its older interior layout.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a 9-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It is tuned for smooth, comfortable acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist are available with the optional Intelligent Drive package.
• Infotainment: The new cabin centres on an 11.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is responsive and voice control is strong, but the screen placement and lack of physical buttons can make it more distracting to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 is estimated at 10.4 L/100 km in city driving, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the one to focus on if you want the redesigned GLC experience with the best balance of comfort, premium materials, and everyday usability. It is the best-value choice because it delivers the core strengths of the model without pushing you into a more specialised body style or higher-performance variant.

The safety package is strong at the standard level, but the more advanced driver-assistance features are bundled into the optional Intelligent Drive package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 348 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,770 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $48,791 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,548 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the GLC more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means there may be less room for appreciation unless demand strengthens or supply tightens.

Because the model is still positioned as a premium, comfort-focused SUV, its value should remain tied to condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should be easier to move than stripped or heavily used ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC does not yet have crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS for the redesigned SUV.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. If you want more advanced assistance, the optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist.

One caveat is that some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are not standard, so you may need to shop carefully if you want the fullest safety setup.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign is conservative, but the upgraded interior keeps it at the top of the small luxury SUV class.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,811 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $48,791 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished ride and stronger convenience focus.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because it delivers the core GLC experience at a lower average price. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model with added polish and broader appeal, the 2024 is the better secondary path.
