Used 2023 Lincoln Navigator for Sale near Alberta

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 15.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 60 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 7.67/10. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The 2023 Navigator is Lincoln’s flagship full-size luxury SUV, and it leans into traditional truck-based capability with significant towing and hauling ability. It also pairs that utility with a twin-turbo V6 engine, a spacious third row, and impressive technology, so it suits you well if you want a large luxury SUV that still feels genuinely useful.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, ride quality in Normal mode is a weak point, and the hands-free driving tech is basic. Even so, 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Navigator is built around a traditional truck-style platform, and that underpins its strong towing and hauling capability. It also uses a twin-turbo V6 rather than a traditional V8, which gives you strong performance without changing the SUV’s core character.

From a dependability standpoint, the expert evaluation points to a robust, well-equipped luxury SUV that is expensive to buy, fuel, maintain, and repair, which is typical for this class. The model’s long-term ownership risk is mainly financial rather than mechanical: if you buy used, you should budget carefully for running costs and repairs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Navigator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Navigator is a single-trim model in Canada, and the Reserve comes with standard four-wheel drive (4WD). It also brings an upscale cabin with quality materials, real wood trim panels, chrome accents, and ambient lighting from the 201A package, though some chrome plastic on the switchgear does not feel as luxurious as the rest of the interior.
• Powertrain: You get one engine only: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4WD. It delivers strong performance, but fuel economy is poor, with a Natural Resources Canada rating of 13.2 L/100 km in combined driving.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, Evasive Steering Assist, Intersection Assist, and BlueCruise hands-free driving. BlueCruise works on more than 200,000 kilometres of designated highways, but it struggles with curves, mixed pavement, and construction zones, and it lacks lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM 360L, Lincoln Connect with Wi-Fi hotspot access, navigation, enhanced voice recognition, and Alexa Built-in. It also has a 12-inch digital instrument display, and the system is easy to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 13.2 L/100 km combined, and our testing loop returned 15.0 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 1 trim level: Navigator Reserve.

Here's the short version:

The Navigator Reserve: This is the only Canadian trim, so your decision is less about choosing between versions and more about deciding whether the Navigator’s size, luxury, and capability fit your needs. It already includes the core strengths that define the model: a spacious third row, strong towing ability, impressive technology, and standard 4WD. If you want the Navigator experience, this is the trim to shop.

The safety package is centred on Co-Pilot360, and BlueCruise is part of the standard ADAS mix, but it is not a fully hands-off system in practice.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $71,208 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $71,298 CAD sits slightly below last year's $84,823 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in your favour if you’re buying now, but it also means a future seller may face softer pricing than owners saw a year ago. Because the Navigator is a large luxury SUV with high running costs, resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well it has been maintained. Strong demand for well-equipped examples can still help support values, especially when the vehicle presents as clean and properly cared for.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2023 Navigator earns a five-star side-impact protection rating and a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 suite includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, Evasive Steering Assist, Intersection Assist, and BlueCruise hands-free driving. BlueCruise works on more than 200,000 kilometres of mapped highways, but it can struggle with curves, mixed pavement, and construction zones, and it lacks lane-change assist. That means you still need to stay engaged and ready to take over.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its strong towing and hauling capability, plus a spacious third row and impressive technology.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $61,578 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $71,298 CAD average.
• It was refreshed with updates to styling, comfort, technology, safety, and driving dynamics.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and flagship Navigator capability, the 2023 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in good condition with the features you want.
