Yes — the 2020 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the spacious, comfortable interior, the smooth ride, and the high-quality technology. The roomy third row and luxurious cabin also come up often as strengths.

The main trade-offs are fuel efficiency and the sense that the engine may be more power than some drivers need. The expert review also notes that the infotainment system can be slow to load and that the ride can feel harsh over rough pavement.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: In Canada, the Navigator is sold in a single configuration, the Lincoln Navigator Reserve trim level. It comes with Lincoln-specific styling, the Lincoln Embrace lighting system, a panoramic glass roof, digital instrumentation, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, and 30-way Perfect Position front seats with heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. The Reserve’s Luxury Package adds several of the most desirable cabin upgrades.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and standard four-wheel drive. It’s strong and smooth, but fuel efficiency is not a highlight.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses Sync 3 with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, Lincoln Connect with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, 911 Assist, Lincoln Way app support, wireless device charging, and Phone As A Key. The system can be slow to load, so test it carefully.
• Fuel efficiency: On the testing loop, it averaged 14.3 L/100 km, and Natural Resources Canada says to expect 13.4 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2020 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 1 trim level: Lincoln Navigator Reserve.

Here's the short version:

The Lincoln Navigator Reserve is the one to focus on because it’s the only Canadian trim and already brings the core luxury experience. You get the big V6, standard 4WD, the upscale cabin, and the key comfort and technology features that define the model. If you want the fullest expression of this SUV, look for examples with the Luxury Package, since it adds some of the most appealing interior equipment.

The standard safety package is Lincoln Co-Pilot360.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 48 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,020 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $46,959 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,267 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you own one now, the softer trend can make it harder to command top dollar unless your vehicle is especially well equipped or exceptionally clean. On the other hand, the Navigator’s luxury positioning and strong demand for full-size SUVs can still support healthy interest when the price is right.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator earns a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

The expert review notes that the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance work with refinement. The only caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety had not tested the 2020 model.

Should I buy a 2020 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a strong V6, standard 4WD, and Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $53,345 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $46,959 CAD average.
• It adds a more refined sense of comfort and presence.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and the model still delivers the core Navigator experience. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer example, the 2021 is the better path for buyers who want the next model year’s added polish.
