Is the 2023 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lexus NX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out for its distinctive styling, minimalist cabin with a large touchscreen display, and a broad mix of powertrain choices, including efficient hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. Is the 2023 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 NX is presented as a model with an excellent dependability reputation, and that matters if you want a luxury crossover that should age with fewer surprises. Its appeal is strongest if you value comfort, technology, and confidence over a more engaging drive. For used buyers, that kind of reputation can reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 195 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $43,347 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $44,317 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,679 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour now, but it also suggests future sellers may need to be realistic if the market stays competitive. The NX’s strong reliability reputation and broad appeal should help support demand over time. If you buy well today, you may be better positioned to recover value later than with a less trusted luxury crossover. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,969 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $44,317 CAD average.
• The redesign brings a more modern, more dynamic feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative.
