Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 192 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.69% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $44,040 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,257 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic rather than assuming appreciation. The NX’s premium positioning and strong reputation for dependability should still help support demand when you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,908 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $44,040 CAD average.
• The redesign brings a more modern, tech-focused feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the current-year balance of pricing, satisfaction, and broad powertrain choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value play and still gives you the NX’s core strengths.
