How much does the 2023 Kia Seltos cost?

There are 635 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for a subcompact crossover that feels larger than its footprint suggests. The 2023 Seltos is positioned to bridge the gap between the Soul and the Sportage, and it leans into practicality with a more rugged personality, a surprisingly premium interior for the price, and generous passenger and cargo space for a compact vehicle. It also offers a broad range of features, including available heated and ventilated front seats, a power sunroof, and a larger infotainment screen on higher trims.

That combination makes it a sensible fit if you want a small SUV that feels more substantial and better equipped than many rivals. 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile options in the market.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Seltos is described as having a high-quality cabin and refined driving dynamics, which supports its appeal as a daily driver. It also benefits from a well-finished interior and useful space, both of which matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for several years.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any recall-related work has been completed before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 635 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,382 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $23,382 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,250 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Seltos easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your purchase price matters more, because a lower entry point can help protect your eventual return.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $21,085 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $23,382 CAD average.
• It offers practical space, easy-to-use tech, and a strong warranty.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,110 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $23,382 CAD average.
• It adds fresher styling and updated technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped Seltos with strong value and plenty of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better budget path, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer refresh and are willing to pay more.
