Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearRichmond, BC

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 780 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability and fun driving experience, and the review summary also points to strong enthusiasm for its adventurous character. The main trade-offs are high-speed handling and pricing, along with a lack of features such as seat warmers. For you, that means the Wrangler makes the most sense if you value trail ability and personality more than everyday polish. With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about keeping, with language centred on being dependable for the kind of use it is built for. The expert review also frames it as a proven, long-running off-road SUV with a durable body-on-frame layout and solid front and rear axles. If you are buying used, the main long-term risk is less about basic toughness and more about choosing a trim that matches your expectations for equipment and everyday comfort.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Some popular trims, including the Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, and Wrangler Sahara, do not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so you should check equipment carefully before assuming every Wrangler has the same off-road hardware.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a Pentastar V6, a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-litre Ecodiesel V6, a 6.4-litre V8, or the 4xe plug-in hybrid setup, so think about whether you want efficiency, torque, or maximum performance.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, while an 8.4-inch unit is available. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates for the Uconnect system are included, but there is no digital key.
• Fuel efficiency: Expect anywhere from the high 10s to the low 12s in litres per 100 kilometres combined, with the 3.0-litre diesel at 9.5 L/100 km combined and the 4xe at 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 5 trim levels: Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, Wrangler Sahara, Wrangler Rubicon, Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Here's the short version:

• Wrangler Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the least equipped choice and skips key off-road hardware such as locking differentials and aggressive dirt tyres, so it only makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and plan to add equipment carefully.
• Wrangler Willys Sport: This trim adds some character, but the available information still points to the same equipment gaps that matter most if you want serious trail use, so it is best for buyers who care more about the Wrangler experience than maximum capability.
• Wrangler Sahara: This is the more comfort-oriented choice, and it is also the trim where the safety package becomes standard, making it the best-value pick if you want a better balance of everyday usability and equipment.
• Wrangler Rubicon: This is the one to buy if off-road ability is your priority, because it brings front and rear differential lockers, a front disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and skid plates.
• Wrangler Rubicon 392: This is the performance-focused choice, with the 6.4-litre V8 and the most extreme capability and hardware, but it is the least practical option for most used buyers.

Safety-package note: blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 780 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,242 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $38,242 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,287 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Wrangler has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the near term, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. At the same time, the softer market means you should not expect to recover every dollar you spend on options or higher trims. Well-kept examples with the right equipment should still hold interest, especially because the Wrangler remains a distinctive and desirable used SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns a four-star frontal crash rating from NHTSA and a three-star rollover rating, while the IIHS shows an almost even split between Good and Marginal ratings, with some headlights on certain trims rated Poor.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment is limited to a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all. That means you should pay close attention to trim and option content if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 keeps the Wrangler formula focused on off-road capability, removable doors, and a wide range of powertrains.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,394 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,242 CAD average.
• It is a highly distinctive, character-rich SUV with strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,927 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $38,242 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern feel with a refresh focused on technology, safety, and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and current-market availability, the 2023 is the sensible primary path. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2022 is worth a look; if you want the newer refresh and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
