How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It stands out because it blends genuine off-road ability with a more premium, luxury-leaning character than many mainstream SUVs, while still keeping Jeep’s off-road identity intact. For you, that means it can make sense if you want an SUV that feels refined without giving up real trail capability. With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its established formula: capability, upscale features, and a premium feel at a more attainable price than traditional luxury brands. It also offers a standard 3.6-litre V6 with an eight-speed automatic and Canadian-market four-wheel drive, which supports its reputation as a well-rounded utility vehicle. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-spec versions can become expensive to maintain and buy into.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep distress pricing across the board.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 482 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,121 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $38,141 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,003 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy near the lower end of the current range, you reduce the chance of taking a bigger hit later. The Grand Cherokee’s broad appeal should still support demand, especially for shoppers who want a premium-feeling SUV with real capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $33,822 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,141 CAD average.
• The 2022 is a redesigned SUV with strong off-road ability and everyday comfort.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the current-year pricing trend, strong user satisfaction, and a broad mix of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if its lower average price matters more than the newer-year market position.
