Used 2023 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearRegina, SK

How much does the 2023 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 17.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 169 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.82/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, smooth ride, and the way it blends ruggedness with useful technology. The Gladiator also stands out for its distinctive identity and utility, especially if you want something more unusual than a conventional midsize pickup.

The trade-offs are clear: it is noisy, expensive, and not especially fuel-efficient. That makes it a better fit if you value character and capability over refinement and running costs.

With 25.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.82/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with many drivers describing a satisfying ownership experience. The review summary also highlights its ruggedness and the confidence buyers have in its blend of technology and capability.

From our test drive, the Gladiator comes across as a truck you can count on for its intended mission, especially when you want something built for rough use and open-air driving. Jeep also includes a maintenance perk on some versions, with the first scheduled maintenance visit covered.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its specialised hardware and higher running costs can make it less forgiving than a more conventional midsize truck.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Gladiator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with the Sport S and climbs through Willys, Overland, Rubicon, Mojave, and High Altitude. The base setup is sparse, while higher trims add more capability and equipment; the High Altitude also gets a new capability package with a winch-capable steel front bumper, steel rock rails, and a front off-road camera system.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.6-litre V6 with 285 horsepower or an optional 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 with 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The diesel is the efficiency play, while the gas V6 is the standard choice.
• Safety package: The optional Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam headlights.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a USB data and charging port, and an eight-speaker stereo. The available 8.4-inch system adds navigation, connected services, Wi-Fi hotspot access, SiriusXM satellite radio, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and a nine-speaker Alpine premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The optional EcoDiesel turbodiesel returns 9.8 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving. In testing, the gas V6 Mojave was rated at 12.3 litres per 100 kilometres combined by Natural Resources Canada, and we recorded 13.6 L/100 km on our evaluation loop.

Which 2023 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Overland, Rubicon, Mojave, and High Altitude.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Gladiator’s core open-air personality and truck utility at the lowest starting price. It is the least expensive way into the lineup, but you should expect the fewest extras.
• Willys: This trim adds more standard equipment than the Sport S and is a better fit if you want a more appealing everyday version without jumping too far up the price ladder. It looks like the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• Overland: Choose this if you want a more comfort-oriented Gladiator with a broader equipment mix. It suits buyers who want the Jeep character without leaning as hard into trail hardware.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to target if off-road ability is your priority. It gets the exclusive Rock-Trac 4WD system with a Tru-Lok locking front differential, making it the serious trail-focused choice.
• Mojave: This is the desert-running specialist, with Fox shocks, a suspension lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a locking rear differential. It is the right pick if you want the most distinctive high-speed off-road setup.
• High Altitude: This is the upscale choice, and the new capability package adds a winch-capable steel front bumper, steel rock rails, and a front off-road camera system. Buy this if you want the most premium-feeling Gladiator with added hardware.

For safety, the optional Safety Group is worth seeking out, and the Advanced Safety Group adds the most useful driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Gladiator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 169 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,514 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $44,514 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,159 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

The Gladiator’s niche appeal should help support demand among shoppers who specifically want its open-air design and off-road character. Even so, its high running costs and specialised nature mean resale strength will depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.82/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator earns a four-star rating for frontal-impact protection from NHTSA and a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The Advanced Safety Group builds on that with adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam headlights.

A key caveat is that Jeep does not offer lane-departure warning or lane-keeping assistance, and the IIHS says the headlights are Marginal at best.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Gladiator’s distinctive open-air design and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,761 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $44,514 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling revisions and next-generation infotainment technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the smarter buy if you want the Gladiator’s core appeal at a lower price, especially since the market has softened. If you want newer tech and are willing to pay more, the 2024 is the better alternative.
