Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 518 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,165 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $26,165 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,317 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has become more accessible for you as a buyer, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than last year. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk. The Tucson’s broad appeal should still support demand, especially among shoppers who value comfort, technology, and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,730 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,165 CAD average.
• It offers a roomier redesign with more cargo and passenger space.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $29,023 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $26,165 CAD average.
• It adds a more refined all-around package with strong space, safety, and value.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped Tucson at a softened price. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package, the 2024 is the better step up.
