Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Kona Electric or consider a different year?

Choose the 2023 if:

• 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $24,478 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $27,190 CAD average.
• It offers an approachable EV with an affordable price tag.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused path, especially if you can live with its more basic package.
