Used 2023 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearQuebec, QC

How much does the 2023 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 10.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 104 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Honda Ridgeline earns a 4.38/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating, which points to a truck that resonates strongly with shoppers who value comfort and practicality. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners repeatedly praise its comfort, smooth ride, versatility, and useful storage space, and they also like the modern safety features. The trade-offs are familiar: outdated technology and an infotainment system that can feel behind the times. That fits the Ridgeline’s role as a truck for modest tasks and everyday usability rather than hard-core pickup duty.

With 23.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.38/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise for comfort, versatility, and useful storage that tends to matter over the long haul. On the expert side, the Ridgeline’s refined driving character and sophisticated on-road behaviour support the impression that it is built to be easy to live with day after day.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about living with older technology and the compromises of a truck that prioritises comfort over ruggedness.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Sport is the base model in Canada, while EX-L, Touring, and Black Edition add more upscale equipment. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about premium features.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, a nine-speed automatic, and torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. It is refined and capable on pavement, but it is not built for serious rock crawling.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard in Canada.
• Infotainment: The Ridgeline uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, wired Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, wireless charging, and basic HondaLink services. SiriusXM arrives on EX-L, while Touring and Black Edition add navigation, premium audio, and cargo bed speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The Ridgeline is rated at 11.5 L/100 km combined and 9.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2023 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the value play if you want the Ridgeline’s core strengths without stretching for luxury extras. You still get the V6, all-wheel drive, and the full safety suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top end. It also brings SiriusXM, which helps close some of the tech gap.
• Touring: Choose this if you want the more premium convenience and entertainment upgrades, including navigation, premium audio, and cargo bed speakers.
• Black Edition: This is the most upscale choice, aimed at buyers who want the richest trim presentation and the most complete feature set.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 104 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $43,943 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $44,173 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,201 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. The Ridgeline’s appeal as a practical, comfortable daily driver should help support demand, especially among buyers who want truck utility without the usual compromises.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.38/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2023 Ridgeline earns mostly favourable crash-test and safety ratings from IIHS, and it gets top marks in all crash tests from NHTSA, plus a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing equips every version with adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard in Canada as well.

The main caveat is that the driver-assistance systems are older and not as smooth or refined as newer Honda setups, and the adaptive cruise control can be a bit inconsistent in traffic.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.38/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It is a practical, comfortable outlier with strong everyday usability and excellent form-and-function scores.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $40,523 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $44,173 CAD average.
• It carries over unchanged and focuses on comfort, refinement, and a quiet cabin.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,784 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $44,173 CAD average.
• It adds a TrailSport trim and meaningful tech updates for a more modern feel.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and everyday usefulness, the 2023 is the sweet spot. If you’re shopping strictly on price, the 2022 is the smarter value pick. If you want newer features and can spend more, the 2024 is the better upgrade path.
