Used 2023 Honda Accord for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2023 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 13.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 105 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord a good car?

It’s a mixed but appealing choice if you want a midsize sedan that prioritises driving enjoyment, passenger space, and safety over maximum versatility. The Accord earns a 3.5/5 user rating and a 6.7/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The redesigned Accord is described as an excellent traditional four-door family car that feels more engaging than many rivals, and it backs that up with a spacious interior and strong safety ratings. The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer all-wheel drive, and it also lacks a third-row seat and a big cargo area you can pack to the roof. It is best suited to you if you value a more rewarding drive and roomy passenger space more than extra utility.

Only 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is not especially generous even if the model itself has broad appeal.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord reliable?

The 2023 Accord presents itself as a robust, well-sorted family sedan with a strong safety and engineering focus. Its structure feels robust, the suspension filters out harshness well, and the powertrain is described as perfectly adequate for everyday use.

Honda Sensing is tuned with accuracy, refinement, and sophistication, and the Accord’s ADAS graphics make system status easy to read at a glance. The performance notes also point to a car that is easy to drive in urban and suburban settings, with excellent outward visibility and no trouble parking.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a more expensive Accord than some rivals, so any repair or maintenance surprise can sting more than it would on a cheaper alternative.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base EX is the gas-only version in Canada, and it is the least expensive way into the Accord. It gets cloth seats, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a refined but conservative cabin, but it misses some of the richer equipment and larger-wheel setup you get higher up. If you want the best-value balance of equipment and price, the EX is the one to focus on.
• Powertrain: The EX uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder with 192 horsepower and a CVT. It is front-wheel drive only, and the powertrain is described as adequate rather than quick. Honda also offers a hybrid alternative in the broader Accord lineup, but the standard gas model here is the EX.
• Safety package: Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, including adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The EX comes with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen. It includes Bluetooth, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, HondaLink connected services, Wi-Fi access, an SOS emergency call button, two 3.0-amp USB-C ports, and an eight-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Accord EX should return 7.3 L/100 km in combined driving. The test vehicle returned 8.2 L/100 km on the evaluation route.

Which 2023 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord is offered in 1 trim level: EX.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the only gas-only Accord trim in Canada, so it is the trim to buy if you want the standard 2023 Accord experience. It gives you the redesigned cabin, the 1.5-litre turbo engine, Honda Sensing, and the core infotainment setup, but it also reflects the model’s biggest drawback: the price premium versus rivals. If you want the Accord’s balance of space, safety, and driving enjoyment without stepping into the hybrid lineup, this is the trim to target.

Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, so you do not need to move up the trim ladder to get the full safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market: there is inventory to choose from, but the deal share is not overwhelming.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,525 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $27,570 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,852 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Accord has become more approachable for used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you own one, the market is still giving you a solid used value, but not the kind of premium that would make resale especially lucrative right now. For future sellers, the current trend points to a model that remains desirable, yet is no longer commanding the stronger pricing it did a year ago.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord safe?

The 2023 Accord earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The main caveat is that the lane-centring system can waver a bit near highway off-ramps, and the lane-departure warning is subtle rather than forceful. Even so, the overall safety package is a major strength.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.
• It’s the year that brings the redesigned Accord’s more modern look, strong safety ratings, and engaging driving character together in one package.

The bottom line: If you want the Accord’s redesigned feel, strong safety, and enjoyable road manners, the 2023 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and shop carefully for the best-priced example.
