Used 2023 Honda Accord for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2023 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 13.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 107 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord a good car?

It’s a mixed but still compelling choice if you want a midsize sedan that prioritises driving enjoyment, passenger space, and safety over maximum versatility. The Accord earns a user rating of 3.5/5 and an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The Accord’s appeal is strongest if you want a traditional four-door family car that feels fun to drive while still offering a spacious interior and great safety ratings. The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer all-wheel drive, it lacks a third-row seat, and it does not have a big cargo area you can pack to the roof. That makes it less flexible than some rivals, even if it is more engaging from behind the wheel.

Only 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is not especially generous.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord reliable?

The 2023 Accord is presented as a robust, well-engineered sedan with a suspension that filters out harshness and a powertrain that feels adequate for everyday use. The expert evaluation also notes that the car feels solid structurally and is easy to drive in urban and suburban settings.

Honda’s 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as a refined carryover with improvements, and the CVT is said to be adequate in normal driving. The Accord also benefits from a generally quiet cabin and good outward visibility, which can make day-to-day ownership feel less stressful.

On the cost side, the Accord’s value proposition is less convincing than its fundamentals, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about durability than about whether you’re comfortable paying a premium for the package.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX is the gas-only model in Canada, and it brings a more technical exterior look, cloth seats with contrast stitching, metal mesh dashboard trim, a digital instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment system. It is well equipped for the class, but it still feels more basic than higher trims in some areas.
• Powertrain: The EX uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder with 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. It is described as adequate rather than quick, and the Sport or Touring trims are recommended if you want larger wheels and wider tyres with more grip.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. There are no trim-level gaps noted in this suite.
• Infotainment: The EX has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen. It includes Bluetooth, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, HondaLink connected services, Wi-Fi access, an SOS emergency call button, two 3.0-amp USB-C ports, and an eight-speaker audio system. SiriusXM satellite radio is not included.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Accord EX at 7.3 L/100 km combined. The Sport Hybrid is rated at 5.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord is offered in 1 trim level: EX.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the only gas-only Accord trim in Canada, and it is the one to focus on if you want the standard 2023 Accord experience. It gives you the 1.5-litre turbo engine, Honda Sensing, a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen, wired smartphone integration, and a well-finished cabin. It is the best fit if you want the core Accord formula without stepping into the hybrid lineup.

The safety package is standard on this trim, so you do not need to move up the range to get the full Honda Sensing suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should be able to shop carefully and still find decent options.

• Deal availability: 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,682 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $27,683 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,080 CAD.

That price drop suggests the used market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you own one, the Accord still has strong appeal thanks to its safety, driving dynamics, and spacious cabin, but the current pricing trend shows that depreciation has moved in buyers’ favour. For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and trim will matter a lot when trying to stand out.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord safe?

The 2023 Honda Accord earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The expert evaluation notes that the system generally performs with accuracy, refinement, and sophistication, though the lane-centring system can waver a bit near highway off-ramps and curves can introduce some uncertainty.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.71% compared with last year.
• The 2023 Accord’s expert summary highlights that it remains an excellent example of the traditional four-door family car if you do not need all-wheel drive, a third-row seat, or a large cargo area.

The bottom line: If you want the most engaging version of the Accord’s traditional sedan formula, the 2023 is the one to target. If you are shopping mainly on price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 still makes the strongest case when safety, driving enjoyment, and everyday usability matter most.
