Is the 2023 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2023 GMC Acadia earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its modern features, comfort, enjoyable driving experience, stylish interior, safety features, spaciousness, and fuel efficiency. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a family-oriented crossover with a practical interior and a broad trim range. With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in everyday use, with owners highlighting its trouble-free ownership experience, comfort, and confidence over the long term. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright reliability and more about choosing the right trim and equipment level for your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 176 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $35,925 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $35,925 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,519 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Acadia easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and trim. Well-kept examples should still appeal to shoppers looking for a comfortable, well-equipped midsize SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,294 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $35,925 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned, larger cabin with a new turbocharged engine.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the better value and a proven, well-liked used SUV. Consider the 2024 if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay a significant premium. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter starting point.
