Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,549 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $26,334 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,210 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Acadia has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the short term, which can make it easier for you to purchase now without paying peak-market pricing. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may not be as strong as it was a year ago, especially if the market stays competitive. Even so, the model’s broad appeal and family-friendly positioning can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Acadia is a sensible choice if you want the updated infotainment setup, strong owner approval, and a market that is offering some pricing relief. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out as a balanced pick for shoppers who value comfort, space, and a more manageable midsize footprint.
