Is the 2023 Ford Edge reliable?

For used buyers, that suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about broad reputation and more about the specific vehicle’s maintenance history, mileage, and prior use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 549 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,015 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $26,015 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,001 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold its value better than the broader trend suggests. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and owner approval, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023’s stronger market position and satisfaction signal.
