Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 558 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,337 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $26,337 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,861 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying at the lower end of the range gives you a better chance of protecting your equity. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Ford Edge makes the most sense if you want a used SUV with strong owner approval and a market that has moved in your favour. If your priority is getting the best possible deal, you should still compare nearby model years and focus on the lowest-priced listings, but the 2023 is the better starting point when you want a balance of value and buyer confidence.
